Greetings,
As I sit here and write my spirit is already in NC where David and I are going next week for a meditation retreat. Retreating is a lost art, yet for me it has become essential. Whether is it a one hour massage retreat, a gentle yoga class retreat, a day without phones retreat or a retreat from work or eating!

Last night I gave the Intro to our 40 Day Program talk. About 15 folks came and we talked about the power of committing to your health for 40 days in the three essential ways; eating well, meditating, and doing yoga (eat, pray, move). It is a powerful time to get know yourself better and invest in the tools to maintain your health. Tried and true stuff.  So if you are ready for a retreat please seriously consider joining us. You can click here for more info.

On the topic of retreat, my good friend and mentor Kendall Sheldon's series Integrative Rest (iRest®) - The Ancient Practice of Yoga Nidra  begins next week. This program is the ultimate stress buster. Based on the ancient practice of Yoga Nidra - the science of awakening to our true nature - this modern adaptation offers a meditative inquiry that can induce deep states of relaxation; eliminate stress; overcome insomnia, anxiety, fear, and depression; and assist in entering into deep meditation. It is simple to learn, easy to practice tool.

In closing I would like to mention that this is the Year of the Dragon. According to the Chinese Zodiac, this is a year of amazing opportunity, personal growth, and change. Are you ready??

 Be Well,
Joan
